Chapters in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
The Sacred Stones has 22 chapters and 1 gaiden chapter. After chapter 8 ends, there is a route split with a choice given to the player to decide to follow Eirika or Ephraim, which affects the story, map layout and recruitment time of various characters. Enemy and deployment layout of certain maps is also affected even after the siblings' armies reunite in chapter 15. The game has a world map allowing players to revisit locations to shop in them or battle monster skirmishes that randomly appear (and alternate on if they have Fog of War). It also has the 8-map Tower of Valni and 10-map Lagdou Ruins as additional training grounds and challenge maps. Creature Campaign is a post-game mode where an additional skirmish map is unlocked, and the player can redo the Tower and Ruins to unlock additional characters.
